Job summary

Arvato, a leading global 3PL, is seeking a Shipping Team Lead to oversee daily operations in the Shipping department, handle paperwork for warehouse received goods, and ensure safety and cleanliness across the area.

You will monitor performance and attendance for team members, participate in process improvements, and uphold 7S guidelines while adapting to overtime and weekend requirements in a fast-paced distribution center environment.

Qualifications

• Shipping experience in a fast-paced distribution center environment.
• Proven leadership experience.
• Strong problem-solving, decision-making, planning and organizational skills.
• Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Safety knowledge.
• Able to perform in a fast-paced packaging environment.
• Able to stand/walk for long periods.
• Must be able to work overtime, holidays, weekends, different shifts.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the Shipping department.

Job Description

The Team Lead will be responsible for the day to day operations of the Shipping department. Including all product initially received through the warehouse and the handling of all paperwork pertaining to that merchandise. Tracks performance and attendance for all personnel assigned to the shipping area. This position is also responsible for safety, organization and cleanliness.

• Requires ability to stand/reach/stoop/bend
• ManufacturingEnvironment/Warehouse Setting
• Stand, bend, stoop, lift, and walk majority of your shift
