Job summary

Peco-Foods is seeking a Shipping General to manage forklift operations and material movement in our Arkansas facility. The role focuses on safe operation of powered and manual lifts, accurate stacking, and adhering to packaging and labeling standards.

You will participate in loading and unloading trucks and maintaining orderly inventory within the shipping area. The position requires vigilance for safety, proper documentation, and the ability to report anomalies to plant management.

Qualifications

• Experience operating powered and hand operated forklift trucks.
• A basic understanding of packaging and labeling standards.
• Attention to detail and adherence to safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts to move items within the facility and load/unload trucks.
• Stack boxes and move items to proper locations as directed.
• Follow written packaging and labeling specifications.
• Inspect packaging for condition and correct labeling.
• Identify and report suspicious or abnormal situations to supervisor.
• Address abnormal situations such as tampering or equipment issues.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
