Safe Foods in Arkansas is seeking a hands-on team member for our chemical operations and shipping duties on a full-time, on-site basis. You will support loading, unloading, and packaging while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

The role emphasizes forklift operation, accurate shipping documentation, and adherence to FIFO procedures across shifts. Candidates should have a GED, 1 year forklift experience, and strong communication to collaborate with multiple departments.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• 1 year of forklift operation experience.
• Experience with FIFO shipping/manufacturing procedures.
• Ability to understand and follow safety rules and procedures.
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to safety policies and guidelines and protect co-workers.
• Follow written and verbal procedures to perform duties safely and efficiently.
• Complete safety, task, and compliance training.
• Operate forklifts and assist in loading/unloading shipments.
• Prepare finished products for shipment with proper labels and batch documentation.
• Verify shipments have proper labels and no container damage.
• Maintain a clean and organized workplace and report maintenance needs.
