Job summary

Peco Foods Inc. is seeking a PIT Operator II- Shipping to safely operate stand-up counter balance forklifts and stand-up deep reach forklifts in a warehouse environment. You will follow SOPs for receiving, put-away, picking and shipping, and maintain inventory in line with USDA requirements.

The role requires attention to detail, ability to work in cold environments, and flexibility to work weekends and nights. Safety and accurate records are essential to success.

Qualifications

• Ability to count and perform basic math.
• Ability to work in frozen temperatures for extended periods with PPE.
• Attention to detail to ensure accurate inventory records.
• Flexible schedule including weekends and nights.
• Use of scanning devices for shipping, receiving and inventory.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Abide by all safety protocols to assure a safe workplace.
• Receive and put away inbound freight by following SOPs.
• Pick and ship outbound freight by following SOPs.
• Maintain warehouse and equipment per USDA requirements.
• Maintain accurate warehouse inventory following SOPs.
• Perform inventory functions when required.
