Job summary

You will identify insurance codes, obtain required consents and authorizations, and communicate co-pays to patients.

The role may include additional duties as assigned, with a weekend differential and eligible weekend rates as part of shift compensation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; clerical experience.
• Effective oral and interpersonal communication; computer skills.
• Registration or admitting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interview patients, establish patient records with demographic and financial information.
• Identify insurance codes and obtain consents and authorizations.
• Advise patients of co-pays and may perform other duties as assigned.
