Job summary

Paycom is seeking an Admitting Patient Access Representative to support the admission and registration process in Mammoth Lakes, CA. This role covers multiple patient access areas, including registration, insurance verification, and point of service collections.

The position requires strong communication, attention to detail, and customer service skills, with per diem shifts that include weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate degree is preferred.
• Experience in hospital registration or admitting preferred.
• Spanish speaking strongly preferred.
• Typing 30-45 WPM; proficient with multi-line phones, fax and copy machines.

Responsibilities

• Opens/closes Admitting front desk according to current procedures.
• Registration/admission for Medical Imaging, Chemotherapy, inpatient/outpatient procedures and surgery.
• Greets all patients in a courteous and timely manner.
• Answers multi-line telephone; takes messages and transfers calls as needed; may operate the switchboard.
