Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED plus 2 years of related experience, or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in retail preferred.
• Knowledge of security operations with emphasis on patrol, inspection and response services.
• Knowledge of supervisory practices and procedures.
• Ability to provide positive direction and motivate performance.
• Understanding of security devices and controls.
• Ability to learn quickly and follow written or diagrammatic instructions.
• Ability to manage schedules and coordinate posts.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• supervise Security Officers and Lead Officers at client site(s) to ensure post orders are followed and rounds completed.
• coach and discipline personnel; meet with employees and document actions.
• train Security Officers; review post orders and assignments with staff.
• assist in payroll and personnel information submission.
• ensure adequate coverage of all posts and positions.
• prepare, file and submit various reports as required.
• inspect posts and outline tasks for subordinates.
• meet with client representatives to ensure security requirements are met and provide customer service.
• carry out supervisory duties including interviewing, orienting, and training employees, planning and directing work, and performance appraisal.
