Job summary

United Security Services, Inc. is seeking a Field Supervisor for the Chicago Loop area. This is a weekend position with Fridays 4 pm–12 am and Saturdays & Sundays 12 PM–12 AM.

The Field Supervisor will oversee 50+ security guards, conduct client location visits, ensure posts and post orders are followed, and enforce company/client policies. Requires a valid driver’s license, PERC Card, and at least 1 year of security experience.

Qualifications

• Must have Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record.
• Minimum of 1 year security experience.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Ability to quickly assess and handle difficult and hostile situations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct scheduled and unscheduled visits to assure our security guards are at their best.
• Make daily inspections of client locations; ensure guards are on post, in proper uniform, and following post orders.
• Provide leadership amongst 50+ security guards.
• Ensure proper enforcement of policies and protocols of United Security Services and clients.
• Intervenes when necessary in resolving personnel problems and counsels security staff.
• Ensure efficient, effective, and compliant operations of all designated sites.
• Act as a readily available resource to clients in the area of operations.
• Report directly to upper management at United Security Services.
• Field supervisor will be provided with a company-issued vehicle and fuel card.
• All responsibilities are carried out honestly, ethically, and professionally.
