Avride is hiring an entry-level Robot Service Technician Assistant to support deployment of autonomous delivery robots on campuses across the U.S. This part-time, weekend-based role offers hands-on experience in robotics, maintenance, and electro-mechanical assembly.

You will learn to prepare robots, manage charging, perform basic repairs, and assist with updates while working with a dynamic team of technicians. This position provides weekly pay through our staffing partner.

Qualifications

• Entry-level role supporting deployment of autonomous delivery robots.
• Ability to lift and move items over 50 pounds safely.
• Willingness to learn electronics, mechanical assembly, and basic diagnostics.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving in dynamic environments.

Responsibilities

• Prepare robots for shifts by ensuring hardware and software readiness.
• Charge robots and batteries overnight to maximize fleet readiness.
• Clean robots and protect external hardware.
• Assist with basic mechanical repairs on the robot fleet.
• Support service campaigns and software updates across the fleet.
• Coordinate with remote support teams as hands-on field contact.
• Perform calibrations and wheel alignment for safe navigation.
• Maintain a clean, organized workshop for the technical team.
