Job summary

Avride is hiring an entry-level Robot Service Technician Assistant to support the deployment of autonomous delivery robots across campuses in the U.S. This part-time, weekend-based position offers hands-on operation, maintenance, and prep of our robot fleet while you learn foundational electro-mechanical assembly skills.

You will be paid weekly and work through our staffing partner, with varying campus hours.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift and move items over 50 pounds safely.
• Strong attention to detail and a logical approach to problem-solving.
• Team-oriented mindset with strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare robots for the shift: Ensure hardware and software are ready for daily deployment.
• Put robots/batteries on chargers for the night: Manage power cycles to ensure fleet readiness.
• Clean robots: Maintain appearance and protect external hardware.
• Perform mechanical repairs: Assist with basic repairs on the robot fleet.
• Perform service campaigns: Help implement hardware or software updates across the fleet.
• Assist remote support coordinators: Act as hands-on field contact for remote tracking team.
• Perform calibrations and wheel alignment: Ensure sensors and chassis components are properly tuned.
• Keep workshop clean and tidy: Maintain a safe, organized workspace.
