Job summary

Avride is hiring an entry-level Robot Service Technician Assistant to support deployment of autonomous delivery robots at campuses across the U.S. This part-time, weekend-based role offers hands-on learning in robotics and electro-mechanical assembly, with weekly pay and on-site work.

You will prepare robots for daily deployment, manage charging, perform basic maintenance, and assist with service campaigns while learning foundational skills to advance in a rapidly growing field.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Interest or basic exposure to robotics or electronics is a plus.
• Ability to learn on the job and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare robots for shifts and ensure hardware/software readiness.
• Charge batteries and manage power cycles for fleet readiness.
• Clean robots and maintain exterior integrity of equipment.
• Assist with simple mechanical repairs on the robot fleet.
• Support remote teams and coordinate on-site troubleshooting.
• Perform basic calibrations and wheel alignment for safe navigation.
