Avride, a U.S.-based autonomous vehicle startup, seeks a part-time Robot Service Technician Assistant to support daily operations, maintenance, and deployment of our delivery robots on campus sites across the U.S. This weekend role offers hands-on experience in robotics and electro-mechanical assembly for a growing tech company.

Qualifications

• Comfortable working in varied field environments.
• Ability to lift and move items over 50 pounds safely.
• Strong attention to detail and a logical approach to problem-solving.
• Team-oriented mindset with strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare robots for the shift by ensuring hardware and software are ready for daily deployment.
• Put robots/batteries on chargers for the night and manage power cycles.
• Clean robots and protect external hardware.
• Perform mechanical repairs on the robot fleet.
• Perform service campaigns for hardware or software updates across the fleet.
• Assist remote support coordinators as a hands-on field contact.
• Perform calibrations and wheel alignment for safe navigation.
• Keep workshop clean and tidy to support the technical team.
