Job summary

Avride is seeking an entry-level Robot Service Technician Assistant to support the deployment of autonomous delivery robots. This part-time role runs on weekends and offers hands-on work in maintenance, testing, and preparation of the fleet.

You will learn foundational robotics skills while contributing to daily operations and on-site support at multiple campuses. The position emphasizes learning, teamwork, and safety as you handle charging, calibration, cleaning, and basic repairs.

Qualifications

Comfortable working in varied field environments.
Able to lift and move items over 50 pounds safely.
Strong attention to detail and a logical approach to problem-solving.
Team-oriented mindset with strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

Prepare robots for the shift by ensuring hardware and software are ready for daily deployment.
Charge robots and batteries overnight to maximize fleet readiness.
Clean robots and protect sensitive external hardware.
Perform basic mechanical repairs on the robot fleet.
Support service campaigns to update hardware or software fleet-wide.
Assist remote support coordinators as the hands-on field contact.
Calibrate sensors and perform wheel alignments for safe navigation.
Keep workshop clean and organized for the technical team.
