Job summary

Baptist Health in Alabama seeks a Registered Nurse for weekend coverage. You will supervise nursing staff on shift, coordinate care, and ensure continuity of high-quality patient care using the nursing process for assessments, planning, and interventions.

Collaborate with physicians and clinicians to implement patient care plans; active RN licensure and BLS are required, ACLS/PALS/NRP/TNCC may be needed depending on area.

Qualifications

• Degree in Nursing required.
• Active RN licensure required; BLS required.
• Additional certifications (ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC, etc.) may be required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate nursing staff on shift, including weekends and holidays, to ensure quality and continuity of patient care.
• Utilize the nursing process for patient assessments, planning of care, and interventions.
• Collaborate with physicians and other clinicians in planning and delivering patient care.
