Job summary

Baptist Health in Montgomery, AL is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join the weekend ED team at Baptist Medical Center East. You will oversee nursing staff on shift, ensure patient care quality, and collaborate with physicians to plan and implement care.

The role requires RN licensure, BLS, and a nursing degree; a BSN is preferred. You will work a weekend Third Shift as part of a regular-full-time schedule with opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred.
• Active RN licensure required with BLS.
• ACLS/PALS/NRP/TNCC may be required depending on area.
• Ability to observe, assess, and record work, safety and infection control standards.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise nursing personnel on shift, including weekends and holidays, to ensure quality patient care.
• Utilize the nursing process for patient assessments, planning, and interventions.
• Collaborate with physicians and clinicians in planning and implementing patient care; may have additional duties within scope.
