Job summary

Baptist Medical Center East in Alabama is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide weekend coverage on the third shift. The RN shall supervise nursing personnel on shift, perform patient assessments, and coordinate care with physicians to ensure quality and continuity of patient care.

Education: degree in nursing required, Bachelor's degree preferred. Licensure: active RN licensure and BLS; ACLS/PALS etc may be required depending on unit.

Qualifications

• Active RN licensure required.
• BLS certification required; ACLS/PALS may be required depending on unit.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred or higher.

Responsibilities

• Supervise nursing staff on shift and coordinate patient care.
• Perform patient assessments, plan and implement care; collaborate with physicians.
