Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking a NICU RN for weekend nights at Baptist Medical Center East in Alabama. This Regular-Full time position covers the Weekend - Third Shift and requires weekend availability.

The RN will supervise nursing staff on shift, perform assessments and care planning using the nursing process, and collaborate with physicians to ensure quality patient care. Active RN licensure and BLS are required, with ACLS/PALS/NRP/TNCC potentially needed per area.

Qualifications

• Degree in Nursing required.
• Active RN licensure required; BLS required.
• ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC, etc. may be required depending on area assigned.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate nursing staff on shift, including weekends and holidays.
• Utilize the nursing process for patient assessment, planning, and interventions.
• Collaborate with physicians and other clinicians in patient care planning.
• Perform additional duties within scope as assigned.
