Job summary

Tower Road Post Acute is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Weekend Supervisor to lead nursing care on weekend shifts in a skilled nursing facility. You will supervise LPNs/LVNs and CNAs, coordinate resident care, delegate assignments, ensure timely documentation, and uphold safety and regulatory standards.

Requirements include an active RN license in the state, ADN required with BSN preferred, 1–2 years in long-term care, and prior supervisory experience; $3,000 sign-on bonus is

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of employment
• ADN required; BSN preferred
• 1–2 years of nursing experience, preferably in skilled nursing or long-term care
• Prior supervisory or charge nurse experience preferred
• Strong clinical judgment and leadership skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of long-term care regulations, infection control, and resident safety practices
• Proficiency with electronic medical records and basic computer systems
• Regular and reliable attendance is required

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage daily nursing operations on the assigned shift
• Supervise, support, and guide LPNs/LVNs and CNAs in delivering safe, effective care
• Delegate assignments based on resident needs and staff competency
• Monitor staff performance, workflow and time management
• Address performance concerns and initiate corrective actions
• Monitor residents' conditions and ensure timely nursing interventions
• Respond to emergencies and changes in condition promptly
• Communicate status updates and shift reports to oncoming staff
