Gateway Post Acute is seeking an experienced Weekend RN Supervisor to join our clinical leadership team. This role oversees nursing operations during weekend shifts, supporting staff and ensuring resident-centered care.

The ideal candidate holds a California RN license, BSN preferred, with CPR/BLS, and at least two years of supervisory nursing experience in a skilled facility. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• California RN license required.
• Current CPR/BLS certification required.
• Two or more years of nursing experience preferred, ideally in a skilled nursing or long-term-care facility.
• Previous supervisory or nursing leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate resident care during the assigned weekend shift.
• Provide direction, education, and support to nursing staff.
• Conduct clinical rounds and respond to residents’ needs and call signals.
• Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapy per physician orders.
• Coordinate and communicate changes in condition to physicians and families.
• Assist physicians and other healthcare providers during visits and examinations.
• Oversee development and implementation of resident care plans.
• Review nursing documentation for accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Participate in nursing quality assurance and performance-improvement initiatives.
