Job summary

High Shoals Health & Rehab is seeking a part-time RN to support nursing operations and patient care coordination. The role focuses on organizing staff, admissions/discharges, and ensuring accurate documentation and billing for Medicare and other programs.

The successful candidate will hold an endorsed RN license in Georgia, demonstrate strong organizational and communication skills, and collaborate with physicians and the Director of Nursing Services to maintain high standards of patient care.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree from an accredited college or university.
• Active RN license to practice in Georgia.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Nursing in organizing day-to-day nursing staff functions.
• Admit, discharge and transfer patients as requested.
• Document and bill supplies used.
• Coordinate care and communicate with physicians.
• Develop work assignments for unlicensed staff.
• Maintain compliance with regulations and quality initiatives.
• Provide education to licensed and unlicensed staff.
