Athens Health and Rehabilitation is seeking a qualified RN Weekend Supervisor to provide strong clinical leadership and oversee weekend resident care. This role focuses on maintaining high-quality, compliant care while guiding a nursing team in a home-like setting.

The ideal candidate holds an active RN license in Alabama, has at least two years of nursing experience and one year of supervisory work, and embraces teamwork, documentation, and resident-centered leadership during weekend operations.

Qualifications

• Current and active RN license in the state of employment.
• Minimum of two (2) years of nursing experience.
• At least one (1) year of supervisory or leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily resident care operations during weekend shifts.
• Supervise, direct, and develop nursing staff to ensure quality care delivery.
• Serve as a dependable and professional liaison between residents, families, and staff.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations and facility policies.
• Maintain resident care standards through oversight of quality assurance, infection control, and utilization review activities.
• Receive and communicate physician orders related to resident care and ensure proper implementation.
• Oversee delegation of nursing and therapeutic procedures to licensed and unlicensed staff.
• Conduct regular resident rounds to assess conditions, behaviors, and quality of care.
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation of treatments and nursing observations.
