Job summary

Reedy River Post Acute in Greenville, SC is seeking a Weekend Supervisor (RN) on a part-time basis to lead clinical and operational activities during weekend shifts. You will act as the on-site clinical leader, supporting nursing staff and ensuring safe, high‑quality resident care.

The ideal candidate is a graduate of an accredited RN program with an active SC RN license, has long-term care experience, and prior supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing (RN) program.
• Active, unrestricted RN license in South Carolina.
• Long-term care and rehabilitation experience required.
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of clinical operations and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support LPNs, CNAs, and nursing staff during weekend shifts.
• Ensure delivery of high-quality, resident-centered care.
• Monitor resident conditions and communicate changes to physicians and facility leadership.
• Provide clinical guidance and support to nursing staff.
• Assist with staffing coordination and coverage as needed.
• Ensure accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and facility regulations.
• Respond to resident, family, and staff concerns professionally and effectively.
• Participate in clinical problem-solving and emergency response as needed.
• Serve as a liaison between nursing staff, physicians, residents, and families.
• Promote a positive, team-oriented work environment.
• Support facility quality initiatives and survey readiness efforts.
