Job summary

Life Care Centers of America is seeking a Weekend RN Supervisor to coordinate patient care and services, promote quality care, and collaborate with patients and families within post-acute settings.

The role requires an RN license in good standing, an associate or bachelor's degree in nursing, CPR certification, and at least two years of nursing experience; you will lead licensed staff and CNAs, develop care plans, and ensure compliance with laws and Life Care standards.

Qualifications

• RN licensing in good standing is required.
• CPR certification required.
• Two years of nursing experience required; geriatric experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide, manage, and coordinate patient care and services through interpersonal contact, which allows patients to attain or maintain the highest practicable physical, mental, and psychosocial well being
• Assist patients daily to evaluate quality of patient care rendered
• Direct licensed staff and CNAs in prioritizing patient care needs/reporting requirements
• Assess patients’ needs and develop plans of care
• Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patients
• Assist in the evacuation of patients
• Demonstrate dependable, regular attendance
• Concentrate and use reasoning skills and good judgment
• Communicate and function productively on an interdisciplinary team
• Sit, stand, bend, lift, push, pull, stoop, walk, reach, and move intermittently during working hours
• Read, write, speak, and understand the English language
