Job summary

Software Placement Group seeks a Weekend RN Supervisor for an established Connecticut healthcare and senior living provider. The role leads weekend nursing operations on-site, ensuring continuity of care, regulatory compliance, and resident safety across shifts.

You will supervise clinical rounds, oversee medication administration, infection control, and staff workflows; mentor RNs, LPNs, and CNAs; and ensure accurate EMR documentation in line with DPH and CMS requirements.

Qualifications

• Active CT RN license is required.
• 2–3 years of clinical nursing experience in SNF/LTC/sub-acute rehab.
• Experience using EMR systems (PointClickCare) for documentation and orders.
• Ability to work independently and manage weekend priorities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct weekend nursing operations.
• Conduct routine rounds across units to monitor resident conditions, meds, infection control, and staffing workflows.
• Provide rapid clinical decisions during resident status changes or acute events.
• Assist weekend admissions, transfers, and discharge orders.
• Mentor RNs, LPNs, and CNAs to ensure shift accountability.
• Ensure accurate EMR documentation compliant with DPH and CMS regulations.
