Job summary

Software Placement Group in Connecticut is seeking an experienced RN Supervisor to lead building-wide clinical and operational workflow during the evening shift. This direct-hire, permanent clinical leadership role ensures safe, person-centered resident care and full regulatory compliance across the facility.

You will supervise nursing operations, serve as the clinical decision-maker during off-peak hours, conduct rounds, adjust staffing, oversee admissions, coach staff, and ensure documentation

Qualifications

• Active CT RN license required.
• 3+ years nursing experience in SNF/LTC/sub-acute.
• Experience supervising evening shift preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise nursing operations during evening shift (3:00 PM–11:00 PM, M–F).
• Make clinical decisions for resident status changes and transfers.
• Conduct rounds to oversee care, meds, infection control, and charting.
• Adjust staffing to maintain coverage and balance workload.
• Oversee admissions, room placements, and shift handoffs with overnight leadership.
• Coach RNs, LPNs, and CNAs to foster teamwork and professional standards.
• Ensure documentation adheres to DPH and CMS guidelines.
