Job summary

Highland Pines in Longview, TX, is seeking a fantastic RN supervisor to lead nursing staff and ensure high-quality patient care. The role requires an active RN license in Texas and at least 2 years’ SNF experience, with 8AM-5PM schedule and weekend coverage as needed.

You will administer medications, follow physician orders, and coordinate with other departments to deliver resident-centered care in a supportive, team-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Registered Nurse program and licensed in the state of practice.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility preferred.
• Current BLS/CPR certification (All SNFs; ALFs as required by state).

Responsibilities

• Ensures delivery of high-quality clinical outcomes and resident/family satisfaction during supervisory shift.
• Serves as a resource to all staff regarding the quality of services provided.
• Provide direct resident care and administer medications per facility policy; follow physician orders as allowed by Nurse Practice Act.
• Effectively manages nursing personnel on shift to limit overtime and agency staff.
• Assesses staff performance and conducts regular shift meetings with updates to DON.
• Collaborates with other departments to provide timely, effective care aligned with residents’ needs.
• Assumes nursing administrative responsibilities for weekend/holiday coverage as requested.
