Job summary

Highland Pines Nursing and Rehabilitation in Longview, TX seeks a compassionate RN Nurse Supervisor to lead weekend coverage and ensure quality resident care. You will mentor staff, coordinate with the DON, oversee medications, and ensure compliance with policies and state regulations while maintaining resident/family satisfaction.

This full-time role requires TX RN license, BLS/CPR, and 2+ years SNF experience; schedule is 8AM-5PM on Saturdays and Sundays, with potential overtime to meet

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved RN program and licensed in the state of practice.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high-quality clinical outcomes and resident/family satisfaction during shifts.
• Serve as a resource to all staff regarding quality of services.
• Provide direct resident care when required; administer medications per policy.
• Manage nursing personnel on shift to limit overtime and agency staff.
• Collaborate with departments to provide timely, effective care.
• Oversee medication management and PCC utilization in line with policy.
• Notify physicians and families of significant changes in resident health.
