Job summary

St. Joseph's Living Center is seeking a Weekend Nurse Supervisor - RN to lead the care team during weekend shifts, ensuring high-quality resident care and smooth daily operations.

Qualifications

• Active, unencumbered CT or Compact RN licensure.
• Strong clinical skills in basic nursing procedures, including medication administration, vital signs, and documentation in EHR.
• Knowledge of long-term care regulations, infection control standards, and patient safety protocols in a skilled nursing or similar healthcare setting.
• Current CPR certifications, including BLS and ACLS.
• Ability to communicate fluently in English – both verbally and written.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and supervision to the care team during weekend shifts, ensuring high-quality resident care and smooth daily operations.
• Coordinate and oversee resident care plans while addressing clinical and staffing issues as they arise.
• Support, mentor, and guide staff, fostering a collaborative and professional care environment.
• Maintain compliance with clinical standards by leveraging strong nursing expertise.
• Commitment to delivering compassionate, resident-centered care in a skilled nursing and rehabilitation setting.
