Creative Solutions In HealthCare is seeking a Weekend RN Supervisor to lead weekend nursing operations and ensure high-quality resident care. This role emphasizes reliability, professional leadership, and the ability to coordinate a busy weekend shift.

You will supervise nursing staff, oversee medication management, and ensure documentation and care plans are followed in accordance with policy. Strong communication and emergency handling are essential.

Qualifications

• Texas RN license required.
• Experience supervising nursing staff on weekends.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage emergencies and maintain documentation.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Nursing Staff: Assign and delegate duties based on census and staff availability
• Oversee Medication Management: Monitor medication administration and coordinate reorders
• Implement Care Plans: Ensure care plans are followed according to company policy and physician orders
• Provide Direct Care Support: Perform and supervise treatments, and serve as staff nurse as needed
• Manage Documentation: Transcribe physician orders promptly, complete assessments, and maintain accurate records
• Lead Shift Communication: Participate in shift reports and ensure staff are informed of care needs
• Ensure Compliance: Enforce infection control procedures and safe work practices
• Respond to Staffing Needs: Coordinate coverage for staffing shortages
• Oversee Incidents: Investigate variances, contact families, and complete incident reports
• Manage Lab Work: Monitor lab orders, results, and physician follow-up
