Responsibilities

• Supervise Nursing Staff: assign and delegate duties based on census and staff.
• Oversee Medication Management: monitor administration and coordinate reorders.
• Implement Care Plans: ensure plans followed per policy and orders.
• Provide Direct Care Support: perform and supervise treatments as needed.
• Manage Documentation: transcribe orders and complete assessments with accuracy.
• Lead Shift Communication: participate in shift reports and inform on care needs.
• Ensure Compliance: enforce infection control and safe practices.
• Respond to Staffing Needs: coordinate weekend coverage.
• Oversee Incidents: investigate variances and report to families.
• Manage Lab Work: monitor orders and physician follow-up.
