Central Texas Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking a Weekend RN Supervisor to lead weekend nursing operations and ensure high-quality resident care. You will supervise staff, manage medications, and coordinate care plans in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates hold a Texas RN license, demonstrate strong leadership and communication, and can multitask while maintaining documentation accuracy during weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• Active Texas RN license required.
• Demonstrates leadership and communication skills.
• Experience supervising nursing staff preferred.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Nursing Staff: Assign and delegate duties based on census and staff availability.
• Oversee Medication Management: Monitor administration and coordinate reorders.
• Implement Care Plans: Ensure plans are followed per policy and physician orders.
• Provide Direct Care Support: Perform and supervise treatments as needed.
• Manage Documentation: Transcribe orders promptly and maintain accurate records.
• Lead Shift Communication: Participate in shift reports and inform staff of care needs.
• Ensure Compliance: Enforce infection control and safe work practices.
• Respond to Staffing Needs: Coordinate coverage for shortages.
• Oversee Incidents: Investigate variances, contact families, complete incident reports.
• Manage Lab Work: Monitor lab orders, results, and physician follow-up.
