Job summary
Hardinsburg Nursing & Rehabilitation is seeking an experienced RN to work with physicians, implement orders for meds, treatments, and tests, and supervise LPNs, LVNs, and CNAs to deliver comprehensive resident care.
Must hold an RN license with at least 2 years of nursing experience; strong leadership and communication skills are essential. Benefits include vacation, health/dental/vision, 401(k), PTO accrual, flexible schedules and overtime.
Qualifications
- Must hold an RN license and graduate of an accredited RN program.
- Minimum 2 years nursing experience or equivalent combination.
- Ability to direct, motivate and train staff and work in a team.
Responsibilities
- Assess resident care plans and evaluate nursing outcomes.
- Interview applicants and participate in hiring decisions.
- Lead team conferences to develop individualized care plans.
- Implement physicians' orders and administer medications.
- Ensure supplies and equipment are safe and well maintained.
- Coordinate nursing care for residents scheduled for therapy or procedures.
- Record observations and report changes in resident condition.
- Assist in emergency measures for sudden adverse developments.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
