Aliya-Healthcare in Chicago, IL seeks an experienced Nursing Supervisor to oversee resident care and manage staff on Evening or Weekend shifts at RYZE on the Avenue. The role emphasizes ensuring high-quality care and effective team coordination.

The ideal candidate will have an IL RN license, 5 years of long-term care nursing experience, and at least 2 years of supervisory leadership. Strong communication and collaboration with the DON are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing with 5 years in long-term care nursing.
• Minimum 2 years supervisory experience in acute, sub-acute, or long-term care.
• Licensed Registered Nurse in the State of Illinois.
• Proficient with facility computer systems and documentation.
• Excellent English written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Oversee resident care during shift and ensure prompt incident reporting.
• Lead and participate in committee and program activities as directed.
• Coordinate care to optimize residents' physical, mental, and psychosocial functioning.
• Perform nursing assessments and communicate changes to physicians and families.
• Complete rounds, monitor dining areas, and ensure environmental standards.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to provide holistic care.
• Review clinical records for completeness and accuracy.
• Monitor, track, evaluate, and report infections.
• Serve as a resource for nursing staff and participate in admissions decisions.
• Support orientation and continuing education for clinical team members.
