Aliya Healthcare in Homewood, IL is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver high-quality care to residents in our skilled nursing facility. The RN will provide total care during assigned shifts, oversee staff, delegate tasks, and ensure adherence to facility policies.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active Illinois RN license.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing education program.
• No history of abuse convictions.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to follow facility policies and support quality care.

Responsibilities

• Provide total care for residents on assigned unit during scheduled shift as an RN.
• Collaborate with allied health team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments per policy and evaluate effectiveness.
• Maintain an environment supporting residents’ physical, emotional, and social well-being.
• Educate residents and families about care plans, treatments, and procedures.
• Monitor team performance and support staff development, evaluations, and corrective actions as needed.
• Assign and oversee nursing duties to ensure tasks are completed appropriately and efficiently.
• Stay current on facility procedures and participate in in-service and continuing education.
• Identify and respond to significant changes in residents’ conditions.
• Accurately document care and changes per facility guidelines.
• Serve as a charge nurse and provide clinical support and decision-making guidance.
