Job summary

De Luna Health and Rehabilitation Center in Pensacola, FL is seeking an RN/LPN Weekend Supervisor to provide direct nursing care and supervise nursing activities during the weekend shift. You will lead the nursing team to ensure high-quality resident care and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities include maintaining staffing levels, conducting RAI assessments for changes in resident condition, auditing documentation, and supporting smooth patient transfers and discharges.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of supervisor or unit manager experience in a skilled nursing facility setting
• Experience supervising nursing staff and coordination of care

Responsibilities

• Ensure facility meets minimum staffing levels for nurses and nurse aides; post nursing staff data as required.
• Assess residents experiencing significant changes using the RAI process.
• Verify census accuracy and report admissions, discharges, leaves of absence, and bed-holds.
• Assist with safe transfers and discharges; interpret policies to staff, residents, visitors, and agencies.
• Participate in facility surveys and audits by government agencies; ensure documentation accuracy.
• Audit nursing documentation for accuracy; perform administrative tasks and charting.
