Job summary

Azure Shores Rehabilitation is seeking an experienced Weekend RN/LPN Supervisor to oversee nursing operations and ensure residents receive safe, high-quality care. You will work with the DON and ADON to support staff, maintain regulatory compliance, and address resident care needs on Saturdays and Sundays.

The role requires a Florida RN or LPN license, prior nursing home experience, and supervisory skills. This is a weekend, part-time position with pay ranging from $36 to $46 per hour, depending

Qualifications

• Current Florida RN or LPN license in good standing.
• Previous nursing home/skilled nursing facility experience required.
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
• At least 6 months of rehabilitative/restorative nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support nursing staff during weekend shifts.
• Ensure adequate staffing and proper assignment of nursing personnel.
• Conduct daily rounds and monitor quality of resident care.
• Ensure medications, treatments, and physician orders are followed appropriately.
• Provide direct nursing care when needed.
• Monitor residents' conditions and inform the DON of changes or concerns.
• Document reportable events and resident care per facility policies.
• Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharge planning.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members.
• Address staff concerns, complaints, and grievances to the DON.
• Assist with nursing policies, procedures, surveys, and regulatory compliance.
• Participate in developing and evaluating individualized nursing care plans.
