Job summary

Pinellas Park Post-Acute and Rehab is seeking a Weekend Supervisor to oversee clinical operations on Saturdays and Sundays. You will supervise nursing staff, provide clinical leadership, and ensure high-quality care in the absence of weekday leadership.

Ideal candidates hold an active RN or LPN license in Florida with 1–2 years in long-term care, plus prior supervisory experience. EMR systems familiarity and strong communication are essential for coordinating resident care and safety.

Qualifications

Current and valid RN or LPN license in Florida.
Minimum 1–2 years of experience in long-term care or skilled nursing.
Prior supervisory or charge nurse experience required.
Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.

Responsibilities

Supervise nursing staff and units during weekend shifts (Saturday and Sunday).
Provide clinical leadership, support, and guidance to staff throughout the building.
Make rounds to monitor resident care, staff performance, and overall operations.
Serve as the primary point of contact for families, physicians, and staff during the weekend.
Ensure staffing levels are adequate and reassign staff to maintain coverage.
Respond to emergencies and make decisions in the absence of administrative staff.
Monitor and ensure timely completion of medication administration, treatments, and documentation.
Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers as needed.
Investigate incidents or complaints and report findings to the Director of Nursing.
Ensure compliance with all facility policies, state, and federal regulations.
Communicate urgent issues or resident condition changes to weekday leadership through reports.
