Job summary

Blue Skies of Texas Senior Living Community is seeking an experienced RN Weekend Supervisor to lead weekend nursing operations at The Mission in San Antonio. You will oversee admissions, care planning, medication administration, and staff supervision while delivering direct resident care as needed.

Responsibilities include rounds, assessments, and coordinating with physicians, residents, and families. Texas RN licensure, CPR/AED, and LTC experience are required or highly desirable.

Qualifications

• RN license in Texas (in good standing).
• CPR and AED certifications required.
• Experience in long-term care settings is highly desirable.
• Supervisory/leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise nursing care per physician orders and policies.
• Manage admissions, transfers and discharges with accurate documentation.
• Administer medications and supervise medication aides for accuracy.
• Maintain a safe environment and ensure supplies are available.
• Conduct rounds, assess residents, and contribute to individualized care plans.
• Communicate with families, physicians, and staff professionally.
