Emerald Nursing in Lincoln, NE is seeking a Nurse House Supervisor to lead nursing services, coordinate care, and work with the DON to uphold high standards of resident care. The role requires strong regulatory knowledge and hands-on leadership.
You will supervise RNs, LPNs, and CNAs, ensure care plans are followed, participate in care conferences, and promote teamwork through regular meetings and professional development.
The Nurse House Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating nursing services within the facility. The House Supervisor works closely with the Director of Nursing (DON) to ensure the delivery of exceptional patient care, compliance with regulations, and the efficient management of nursing staff and resources.
Assist the DON in planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing practices and protocols. o
Ensure the delivery of high-quality care by monitoring resident health and making necessary adjustments to care plans.
Conduct regular assessments and audits to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
Supervise and support nursing staff, including Registered Nurses (RNs), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs).
Assist in the recruitment, training, and evaluation of nursing staff.
Foster a collaborative and positive work environment through regular team meetings and professional development opportunities.
Ensure that all resident care is delivered in accordance with their individual care plans.
Address and resolve any resident or family concerns related to nursing care.
Participate in care conferences and communicate effectively with residents, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
Education: Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with a valid state license for Nebraska.
Experience: 3 years of nursing experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility preferred.
Previous supervisory or management experience preferred.
Certifications: CPR and First Aid certifications required, and certification in Gerontology or related fields preferred.
