Job summary

Brooksby Village by Erickson Senior Living is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to promote, restore, and maintain residents’ health with the interdisciplinary team. The role involves direct clinical care, teaching residents and families, and coordinating holistic plans of care in a continuing care retirement community in Peabody, MA.

Qualified candidates will have a minimum of 6 months RN experience, MA license, CPR, and basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months RN experience.
• Experience caring for seniors preferred.
• Active RN license in MA.
• CPR certification required.
• Basic computer skills including MS Office; EMR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with residents and families using a consistent caregiver approach.
• Perform clinical duties in accordance with state nurse practice act and nursing standards of practice.
• Promote resident independence by teaching residents and families to understand conditions and self-care.
• Monitor residents' clinical and care conditions and respond to changes to ensure comfort and safety.
• Work alongside care associates to perform routine nursing care for assigned residents.
• Maintain infection prevention, administer medications and perform treatments per orders.
• Coordinate holistic plan of care with the interdisciplinary team.
• Document care in the resident's EMR accurately and timely.
• Participate in care conferences as requested by Clinical Manager.
