Job summary

Amedisys is seeking a Weekend Admit RN for home health in Tucson, AZ. The role involves start-of-care assessments, OASIS completion, and delivering skilled nursing care per the plan of care.

Candidates must hold an active RN license for the state, have SOC/OASIS experience, CPR, a valid driver's license, and at least one year of clinical RN experience. Shifts include Friday–Sunday or variations per site.

Qualifications

• Active RN license for the state(s) you are assigned to work.
• One year of clinical RN experience required; if less, VP approval needed.
• Current CPR certification is required.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Perform start of care comprehensive assessment, evaluation, development and implementation of the plan of care.
• Complete OASIS assessments timely and accurately.
• Provide skilled nursing care according to the plan of care and agency policies.
• Facilitate continuity of patient care by communicating with staff, physicians, family, and community resources.
• Initiate appropriate referrals when indicated.
• Promote patient health through teaching and rehabilitative measures.
• Assist patients in learning self-care techniques.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Current RN license, specific to the state(s) you are assigned to work.
• One year of clinical experience as a n RN. If less than one year clinical experience, you must be approved by VP of clinical.
• Current CPR certification.
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation and liability insurance.
