Job summary

Advena Living is seeking a Weekend Warrior RN in Wichita, KS to provide direct nursing care on a concentrated weekend schedule. You will assess residents, administer medications, and coordinate with the nursing team to ensure high-quality resident care.

Applicants must hold an active Kansas RN license and be able to meet the Weekend Warrior schedule. Strong communication, teamwork, and physical ability to lift residents are essential.

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered RN license valid in Kansas.
• Ability to work the Weekend Warrior schedule (two 12-hour weekend shifts).
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork.
• Physical ability to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care per resident care plans.
• Assess residents and communicate changes in condition.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
• Supervise and support CNAs and other nursing staff.
• Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation and follow policies.
• Foster a respectful, resident-centered environment.
