Job summary
Life Care Centers of America is seeking a Weekend RN Supervisor for a Saturday-Sunday 12-hour shift in Andover, KS. The role oversees the weekend Nursing Department and coordinates patient care to maintain high standards of safety and quality.
The RN will lead licensed staff and CNAs, develop care plans, and ensure compliance with laws and Life Care policies. Prior nursing management and geriatric experience are preferred for this weekend leadership position.
Qualifications
- Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in nursing from an accredited college or university.
- Currently licensed/registered RN in applicable State with active license.
- Two years nursing experience; geriatric experience preferred.
- CPR certification upon hire or during orientation and must remain current.
Responsibilities
- Provide, manage, and coordinate patient care and services.
- Promote quality care through collaborative process.
- Coordinate, monitor, and evaluate services according to patient needs.
- Work with patient and family in compliance with laws, regulations, and Life Care standards.
- Direct licensed staff and CNAs in prioritizing patient care needs and reporting requirements.
- Assess patients’ needs and develop plans of care.
