Banner Health in Mesa, AZ is seeking a weekend retail staff pharmacist to provide pharmaceutical care in an outpatient setting. You will accurately dispense medications, counsel patients and caregivers, and collaborate with providers while supervising pharmacy technicians.

This role emphasizes safe medication use, adherence to state and federal regulations, and active participation in workflow coordination to support high-quality patient care within Banner's integrated care network.

Formación

• Requires pharmacy licensure in the state of practice and a degree in Pharmacy.
• AZ Board Wallet Card at time of hire for AZ incumbents.
• Immunization certification and/or licensure within 6 months of hire.
• BSS Registry Team members must have Pharmacy license and Immunization Certification.
• Must possess current BLS card.
• Strong organizational, problem solving and computer skills.

Responsabilidades

• Fills prescriptions accurately and timely; checks for interactions and safety.
• Supervises pharmacy technicians and coordinates workflow.
• Counsels patients and caregivers on medications and therapy.
• Oversees daily pharmacy operations including inventory and records.
• Communicates with prescribers to optimize medication use.
• Manages all aspects of medication use and storage.
