Banner Staffing Services seeks a licensed pharmacist to provide pharmaceutical care in retail and outpatient settings across multiple Banner sites in Arizona. You will dispense medications, counsel patients, and supervise pharmacy technicians, ensuring safety and compliance with regulations.

Qualifications

• Requires active pharmacy licensure in the state of practice.
• Immunization certification and/or licensure within 6 months if not already obtained.
• Must possess current BLS card.
• Strong organizational, problem solving and computer skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with staff, physicians and patients.

Responsibilities

• Fills prescriptions accurately and validates orders for drug interactions and safety.
• Supervises pharmacy technicians and coordinates workflow.
• Provides counseling to patients and families on medications and therapy.
• Oversees day-to-day pharmacy operations including inventory and records.
• Consults with prescribers to optimize medication use and resolve issues.
• Oversees procurement, storage, dispensing, and monitoring of medications.
