Job summary

Banner Health is hiring a Retail Pharmacy Technician for Banner Estrella Medical Center in Phoenix, AZ. Under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist, you will prepare, dispense, and compound medications while ensuring safe, accurate therapy and excellent customer service.

This full-time role features 10-hour shifts (10:00 AM–8:00 PM) with two weekends off per month, incentives up to $2,500, and weekend and night shift differentials.

Qualifications

• Requires Pharmacy Technician licensure and active Certification or Pharmacy Intern licensure in AZ.
• Ability to perform moderate to difficult calculations with a calculator.
• Strong customer service focus and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Review and interpret prescriptions under pharmacist supervision.
• Prepare and dispense medications under supervision and deliver to patients.
• Answer phones, accept prescriptions, and communicate with patients.
• Assist with inventory, maintain a clean work area, and support administrative duties.
• Follow policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
