Job summary

McDonald’s is hiring a Maintenance Person to support the restaurant’s daily upkeep and cleanliness. You will work with the maintenance team to keep interior and exterior areas in top condition and assist with equipment care and basic repairs.

The role includes daily tasks like filtering fryers, cleaning and maintenance around the building, and assisting with restrooms and stock areas. Training is provided; growth opportunities exist within the franchise network.

Qualifications

• Maintenance and upkeep experience preferred in a fast-food/restaurant setting.
• Ability to perform cleaning and janitorial tasks safely and efficiently.
• Willingness to follow procedures and learn on the job.

Responsibilities

• Filter oil fryers daily.
• Maintain outside grounds.
• Clean equipment, windows, stock rooms and restrooms.
• Unload delivery truck 2 times a week.
• Take out and empty trash compactor.
• Change light bulbs.
• Clean HVAC/Exhaust units and roof debris.
