Job summary

Bethany Center For Rehabilitation and Healing in Berry Hill, TN is seeking a full-time Respiratory Therapist to join our geriatric rehab team. The ideal candidate will assess and treat residents independently, hold an active respiratory license, and be comfortable with diverse respiratory therapies and bedside procedures.

Qualifications

• Graduate of COARC accredited AS or BS Respiratory program; Licensed as RRT or CRT.
• Licensed in the state in which practicing; BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Completes assessments and implements respiratory techniques.
• Initiate therapies, maintain patient records, operate, check, and assemble equipment.
• Complete bedside treatments and in-services for nursing staff.
• Attend applicable IDT meetings and document daily/weekly/monthly activities.
• Experience with tracheotomy; care in long-term care settings.
