Job summary

The Encore at Boca Raton Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to join our skilled nursing team. The RT will evaluate and treat geriatric residents, perform bedside respiratory therapies, and document care, working independently within facility procedures.

Requirements include COARC-accredited education, active RRT/CRT license in Florida, and BLS certification. Weekend shifts are available, with ongoing participation in interdisciplinary rounds.

Qualifications

• Graduate of COARC accredited AS or BS Respiratory program.
• Licensed as RRT or CRT in the state of practice.
• BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Completes assessments and implements respiratory techniques to maintain and progress rehab patients.
• Initiate therapies, maintain patient records, operate, check, and assemble equipment.
• Complete a variety of bedside treatments including oxygen therapy, airway management, CPAP and related procedures.
