Job summary

The Encore at Boca Raton Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to join our skilled nursing team on weekend shifts. The therapist must be licensed (RRT or CRT) in Florida, with BLS certification, and able to evaluate and treat residents independently without direct supervision.

Responsibilities include completing assessments, initiating therapies, documenting progress, and participating in IDT meetings, with experience in long-term care and tracheotomy care

Qualifications

• Graduate of COARC accredited AS or BS Respiratory program.
• Licensed as RRT or CRT in the state of practice.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform assessments and implement respiratory therapies for rehab patients.
• Initiate therapies, monitor patient records, operate equipment.
• Provide bedside treatments: oxygen, aerosol, chest physiotherapy, suctioning, airway management.
• Document daily, weekly, and monthly progress and complete IDT participation.
